Still searching for our first win of the year we managed to score 2 more goals than we had all season! Its hard to know where to start as every single girls gave an excellent performance, which really rewarded all their hard work and effort when things were not going as smoothly. Bea scored her first goal for the club with a pretty basic tap in..........from 15 yards.......into the top corner, and in truth we could have scored more than the five we ended up with. Holly got her first clean sheet, aided by a remarkably brave block when it seemed certain the oppo would score. I think everyone there was amazingly proud of the girls after such a tough season so far, and it was great to have a full squad to enjoy it with. Their resilience and refusal to let their heads go down as the season has progressed is a real credit to all of them. Well done!

A tough, aggressive and very physical team who have always been hard to play against. What we didn't need was a poor ref, but thats what we got. Being fair, the right side probably won, but the way in which it happened left a bad taste. It did see some of our girls really put it about though, so it was a worthwhile exercise.

After some tough "pre season friendlies" this was our first game in Div 4 and we were immediately more competitive. Half term meant we only had 9 players, and the pitch was boogy and there was sideways wind and rain.....a real joy! An excellent all round performance with Holly saving another penalty and Lexie grabbing a goal. It was a loss, but we were right in the game.
